HOW WE WORK
The core of Nova’s design process is effective communication. Working closely and collaboratively with our clients, we achieve results that accurately reflect our client’s needs and often exceed their expectations.

In addition to this base, we work in three unique phases:

1. Consultation
We begin every project with a thorough consultation with the client, gathering background information, the scope of the project, budgets, etc., ensuring clarity and engagement from the start.
The basic outline of our consultation process includes:

  • information about the client or company; their background, years in business, services and products offered, self-image, etc.
  • target audience or specific markets they serve
  • the goals of the project
  • specifics about the scope of the project; deliverables, size and color considerations, budget, and deadlines.

2. Design
During the design phase, we develop potential concepts for the piece or pieces we’re working on, and then based on client feedback develop the final design. Concepting includes brainstorming sessions with the client and among our team, while the design and layout phase includes close feedback on the details of the project.

3. Production
Once a concept and design are solidified, various steps are involved to produce the final piece. Illustration and/or photography may need to be created, further refinement of the design might also be necessary. The final specifications of the job are discussed with the client and final production costs are determined.

A CD or DVD with all the files necessary for the job are provided to the client, either at the end of the production phase for client printing, or after the printing is completed by Nova. If the job is printed by the client, Nova can continue to provide it’s services, ensuring the closest match possible to the approved design.
